Santa’s Footprints by the Fireside or in the SnowProve that Santa is real by showcasing gifts

Footprints of Santa Claus by the fireside or in the snow

Do you have a real fireplace at home? If so, get a big boot and stuff it in the ashes. Make Santa’s dirty footprints in the fireplace. Yes, it’s messy, but might as well tidy up after the chaos of Christmas morning. Powder will also be a great alternative to using soot.

If dirty footprints aren’t your thing or you don’t have a fireplace available, try making Santa’s footprints somewhere else.

  • Glimmering Footprints:
  • Pour glitter on a newspaper and glue a boot to it. Create sparkling footprints here and there – wherever Santa enters your home and around the tree.
  • Santa Claus
  • Footprints in the snow:
  • If you live in a snowy area and have a good place for Santa and his reindeer to land, create evidence in the snow. Tap your feet into a big pair of boots and use a broom to draw two lines for the ski slope in the snow. For reindeer prints, run the dog through the area or create your own with a wrapping paper tube with tape on the end. You can even bend the tube slightly to create a reindeer-like footprint. Throw gold or silver sparkles at the area where Santa’s sleigh landed to add a little magic to it all.
