For full details see my blog post.

The basic steps are:

1. Select a healthy, ripe pineapple.

2. Twist off the crown (top leafy part).

3. Peel off the lower 1-2″ of leaves.

4. Let the crown dry for a few days.

5. Submerge the lower part of the crown in a jar of fresh water. Do not soak the leafy area.

6. Change the water every other day so it stays fresh and clean.

7. After 3-4 weeks, lots of roots should form.

8. Plant in potting soil made for succulents and cacti.

9. See the blog for further details.
