So I’ve seen different videos of people having trouble with blinds. Here’s a demonstration. Basically what you do is if you move the strings to the left and keep them there, then the lock won’t engage. I demonstrate this by flicking the string (letting go) to the left. Even though I’m not slowly letting it down it still works.
