Step 2: Scrape dry residue from the surface of the quartz

For quick and easy access, we recommend keeping a putty knife in a nearby drawer so you can reach it when you need to remove any buildup from your counter.Take care of the meteris quite simple. All it takes is getting the right information and doing a little research.

Step 3: Wipe away grease with degreaser

Take a degreaser of your choice (make sure it’s safe to use on quartz) and spray liberally on your quartz countertop. Make sure the spray does not contain bleach, as it will damage your quartz countertops. If you are going to use disinfectant wipes, they should also be bleach-free. After all of this, you’ll want to immediately rinse off the surface with a damp sponge or towel.

Remove stubborn stains from your quartz countertop

Step 1: Remove stubborn stains fromQuartz top

You will need some adhesive remover to scrub off stubborn stains. Get a damp cloth or rag and use a cleanser like Goo Gone. Pour the cleaner directly onto the stain and let sit for 5-10 minutes before wiping it away. After cleaning the surface of the counter, you should wipe it with warm water. An alternative to Goo Gone is caramel. It may sound strange, but it will work because the stickers, like the qualities they possess, will help remove stains.

Step 2: Isopropyl Alcohol Cleaner

Take a damp cloth dipped in isopropyl alcohol and rub the stain with a damp cloth or towel. Next, you will need to wipe down the counter with just lukewarm water. This will help remove stubborn stains with a simple mixture of soap and water.

Step 3: Clean the quartz thoroughly with glass cleaner

Get a safety glass cleaner and pray it on your quartz trays. Allow the glass cleaner to sit for a few minutes before wiping the counter with a damp cloth. While some quartz companies say it’s perfectly fine to use glass cleaners, others want you to stay away from them. To stay on the safe side, we encourage you to call your quartz company and ask if it’s okay to use glass cleaner to deep clean your quartz.

Preventing Damage to Quartz Countertops

Step 1: Clean up spills immediately

Although artificial stone such as quartz only resists stains for a short time, you should not leave the stain on for too long. You still risk damaging your counter if you do. You must clean the quartz as soon as a spill occurs. You can use a mild soap mixed with warm water to clean up an oil spill. Permanent stains may appear if the spill is coffee, wine or tea. Be careful.

Step 2: Protect quartz countertops from high temperatures

To protect your quartz countertops from very hot temperatures, you can use mats or dowels to place dishes, hot pots and electric skillets. You don’t want to place an extremely hot object directly on your quartz as it will damage the counter. If you want to sip citrus drinks, be sure to use coasters. Citrus liquids don’t mix well with quartz countertops.

Step 3: Use a cutting board

It can be tempting to cut and slice food directly on your quartz because quartz is strong and hard, but we don’t recommend doing this. We encourage you to keep a cutting board in place and use it for slicing, slicing, and slicing food. Quartz is scratch resistant but they are not scratch resistant. Another reason cutting boards are important is that your knives will dull.

Step 4. Stay away from harsh cleaners

Using strong alkaline or acidic cleaners will damage your quartz meter. If an extremely acidic or alkaline solution gets on your countertop, take a damp cloth dampened with water and a mild detergent and wipe it clean. Stay away from nail polish, oven cleaners, turpentine, drain cleaners, bleach, methylene chloride and all other harsh agents.
